Pipebands

We are a brand new bagpipe band located in Waco, Texas.

Founded in 1974 by Malcolm Williams, The City of Greenville Pipes and Drums represents our community and the state of South Carolina through frequent performances in parades, festivals, concerts, highland games and other prestigious events throughout the Southeast.

We are an all-volunteer band from a variety of backgrounds and are always seeking new members, from beginners to experienced musicians.

The Quittapahilla Highlanders are a military-style bagpipe and drum band based in Annville, Pennsylvania.

The Newport R.I. Ancient Order of Hibernian Division 1 Pipes and Drums is a Grade V member of the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association.

The Rhode Island Highlanders were formed after World War II in 1948 primarily by returning veterans who were dedicated to preserving and performing the traditional music of Scotland and Ireland.

The band is entering its second season and had over 20 parades and other events on the 2006 calendar.

Now in our 25th year, we re-enact the Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) of the late 1700s, in North America, and wish to share the history of this famous regiment.
