The Royal Highland Centre is delighted to announce a new collaboration with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA) to host the UK Pipe Band Championships on 12th of July 2025.
This prestigious competition will bring together some of the finest pipe bands from across the UK to compete, celebrating both music and tradition. The event will feature various categories across different grades, allowing bands of all levels to showcase their talent and compete.
The championships serve as both a showcase of musical talent and a celebration of cultural heritage, highlighting the rich tradition of pipe bands in Scotland and beyond. It offers a platform for bands to demonstrate their skill and dedication while fostering a sense of community among participants and spectators.

The Royal Highland Centre
The Royal Highland Centre, also called the Royal Highland Agricultural Exhibition Hall, originally the Royal Highland Showground or the Ingliston Showground, is an exhibition centre and showground located at Ingliston in the western outskirts of Edinburgh, Scotland, adjacent to Edinburgh Airport and the A8
The Royal Highland Centre is located next to Edinburgh Airport, within minutes of the M8 and M9, and within easy reach of the city centre. The RHC sits off Glasgow Road (A8) between Newbridge roundabout and the A8/airport roundabout, one of the main routes to the city. Access to the Royal Highland Centre is from A8/Airport roundabout on to Eastfield Road. From there, signposts provide directions to the venue along Fairview Road onto Ingliston Road.
