Pipe Major Michel D’Avenas is a classically trained musician and award-winning professional piper with over 30 years performance and instructional experience.

I’ve been playing the Scottish Highland Bagpipes since 1980. I’ve traveled throughout the Western United States and parts of Europe, Canada and China performing for weddings, memorial servives, concerts, for celebrities and just anyone who would like to have the instrument for their special occasion.

His musical credits include the soundtrack for the Academy Award winning Dead Poets Society (Special Edition) the London Philharmonic at Abbey Road CD, and hundreds of public appearances throughout Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties.

Ian is a master piper in every way: 35 years experience as an accomplished soloist, competitor, performer, band leader and teacher.

Gary Guth is an accomplished musician. He started his musical career playing the piano at age 11 and began his bagpipe career in the Helix High School Pipe Band in La Mesa, California more than 40 years ago.
