The band was formed in 1999, of tri-service and civilian volunteer musicians.

Prior to the formation of the B.C. Pipers Association (BCPA) piping societies had briefly existed in Vancouver: a Pipers’ Society in 1905 and the Vancouver Pipers’ Society in 1921.

Brave Waves was formed in January, 2001 to create a multicultural, multi-instrumental mixture of musical styles.

Welcome to the Robert Malcolm Memorial (RMM) Pipe Bands webpage, a proud part of the SFU Pipe Band organization located at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

Join us! We are looking for youth ages 8 - 18 years of age for drumming, piping, and highland dancing.

Based in Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, the RCMP “E” Division Pipe Band was formed in April, 2006, and is one of the eight RCMP Pipe Bands currently active in Canada.

Championship: 1995 1996 1999 2001 The SFU Pipe Band has been the World Champions on six occasions, as well as North American and Australian Champions, and are continually successful in local, national, and international competitions.
