Emerald Society

The Camden County Emerald Society Pipes and Drums were formed in 1995 by members of Chapter 10 of the Emerald Society of the State of New Jersey who realized the need for a police and fire band.

The Band was started on March 21, 1994. It was formed to pay honor to our fallen brothers and sisters.

WHO IS THE COLORADO EMERALD SOCIETY PIPE BAND? The Colorado Emerald Society Pipe Band is a volunteer organization associated with the non-profit group Colorado Emerald Society.

The formation of a DC fire service pipe band was the dream of members of the Emerald Society Firefighters of Washington for many years.

The band has and continues to have active and retired firefighters who served and continue to serve in the F.

The Band plays Police and Fire Memorials and special events.

Back in 1990 a group of Firefighters from Milford bought chanters and started taking lessons.

The band was formed in late 1983 as an off shoot of the Fairfax County Firefighter’s Emerald Society which was originally organized in April of 1983.
